The value of understanding yourself & others | Arianna Huffington, Adam Grant, Ray Dalio – Collision

In this video, recorded live as part of the 2021 Collision Conference, I talk to Arianna Huffington, founder and CEO of Thrive Global, and Adam Grant, organizational psychologist and TED speaker, about my new personality assessment, PrinciplesYou, why I developed it with the help of Adam and two other great psychometricians, and how valuable I believe it to be for personal development, relationships and organizations.

As part of our conversation, we discuss each of our results, how we relate to one another, and how learning what we’re really like allowed us to deal with our strengths and weaknesses. We also talk about the value of personality assessments for organizational development and how we’ve used them at Bridgewater and Thrive to develop our people and teams.

That accent takes me back to the 2003 gubernatorial debate with Arnold Schwarzenegger. She said something to the effect of "This is not a competition between who can speak louder in a foreign accent." Made the audience break out in laughter.

HuffPo Is one of the worst things to happen to American culture, this person has been devastating to American culture. She has single-handedly participated in the cheapening of American politics and in the dramatic increase of hysterical headlines. And she got rich. Big success story.

Ray is on point as usual and Arianna is super charming! Didn't finish the video however due to Adam's being passive aggressive and snippy and getting on my nerves.. You get the privilege of collaborating with two business giants and you talk down to them? Nooo sir play your position, show some respect.

I'd say he seemed fine, they're just friends having fun it seems. If they weren't friendly it'd be more of a problem, of course
