Sector by Sector | 3 Minutes on Markets & Money [6/9/21]

Which sectors show risk in the markets? In the S&P 500, pay attention to money flows, and watch what's happening to the Amazon trade in Discretionary stocks, as stimulus money goes away, and retail spending wanes. Energy stocks have been a big winner; now it's time to take some profits here, as well as in Real Estate, which continues to perform well. Note the movement of interest rates later in the year, however. Industrial & Financial sectors are also of interest: not as much infrastructure investment as thought; money flows are deteriorating, likely setting up for a summer correction.
