What Happens After the Bounce? | Three Minutes on Markets & Money [8/4/21]

(8/4/21) Major Market Wednesday’s review of what’s happening in the bigs. Buy signals extend on declining money flows–watch the MACD, about to flip from buy to sell. A MACD crossover could lead to a bigger correction. Markets are contained, and there is risk all the way down to the 50-DMA. NASDAQ is in similar shape, bouncing off 20-DMA Tuesday, and very deviated from 200-DMA. Emerging Markets have risen, but running into overhead resistance. International Markets have burned up much of their momentum; not a great place for capital allocation. Mid-caps have not been performing well, and small-caps aren’t, either. Take profits if you’ve gotten ’em.
