The Dichotomy of the Indexes | Three Minutes on Markets & Money [7/28/212]

(7/28/21) Why markets are annoying: Markets are over-extended, and a dichotomy between the major markets and their lesser brothers on Wall Street. S&P in a very bullish trend with a buy signal in place; NASDAQ bounced off 20-DMA yesterday, also very positive. But...underlying indexes aren't doing as well--and a buy signal that doesn't offer much to buy is worth, what? International stocks have nothing really happening, despite money flows. What happens if someone starts to jigger with currencies? (We're looking at YOU, China!) A stronger dollar does not bode well for commodities, oil, and energy.
