(2/3/22) Facebook's less-than-expected earnings report was enough of a disappointment to take down the rest of the market on Wednesday; the question now is whether Meta can withstand the demographic headwinds that are coming, along with a troubling trend of declining user-growth. Particularly vulnerable to Facebook's face-plant is the NASDAQ, with its tech-heavy weighting. Major indexes will open weaker today after a sharp rally over the past few days. A bit of a pullback would not be surprising. The NASDAQ has not rallied as much as the S&P, but it has also lost more than the S&P due to the impact on tech stocks. With buy signals across the board, expect some profit taking today. Markets still appear to be in a reflexive rally within a correctional period. If you didn't like what happened to your portfolio during the decline, use this rally to reduce risk and clean up your portfolio. - Hosted by RIA Advisors Chief Investment Strategist, Lance Roberts -------- Articles mentioned in this report: https://realinvestmentadvice.com/hard-assets-are-they-a-trap-in-the-making/ -------- Get more info & commentary: https://realinvestmentadvice.com/news... -------- Visit our Site: www.realinvestmentadvice.com Contact Us: 1-855-RIA-PLAN -------- Subscribe to RIA Pro: https://riapro.net/home -------- Connect with us on social: https://twitter.com/RealInvAdvice https://twitter.com/LanceRoberts https://www.facebook.com/RealInvestme... https://www.linkedin.com/in/realinves... #Facebook #NASDAQ #BullRun #MarketRally #Markets #Money #Investing |
