    That's a common issue caused by moral hazard. Managers often use their position to force employees to please them instead of the company. Most CEOs are too far away from daily business to get all the things going on in their company. Loyalty to individuals is often considered to be more important than loyalty to the company.

    This feels a little like raising a kid, I wouldnt like them yo hide anything from me. And the only way to do that is accepting that they are learning thanks to mistakes. And that they shouldnt hinder from making them and keep learning.

    Viaing for your position is the worst advice I’ve heard since. It becomes an I and not a we company at risk due to personal selfishness. It conflicts with right for the business. Otherwise everything else was fine.
