Look, I'm not always right, and I'm not claiming to be; I make mistakes just like everybody else, and when I make a mistake, I'll tell you: 'Hey, I made a mistake.' My wife never makes a mistake...but, I make mistakes, and she's happy to remind me of that for, like, 30-years ago. She reminds me of stuff I did wrong before I even knew her. So there's that. But the big mistake investors make is they lok at this calendar-year thing: 'Where was I January 1st, and where am I now...?' That has no relevance to what's going on now with your money. Again, look at your portfolio over a two or three year period; longer is better. Because that gives you the trend and direction of where your going with your financial wealth. Look, nothing goes straight up. You're going to have bumps and bruises along the way, and what you're trying to avoid is the catastrophic hospitalization of your portfolio.
