| (9/22/21) There is much at stake as the Fed Meeting commences today, and markets anticipate Fed Chair Jerome Powell's comments this afternoon, before the trading day's conclusion: Will the Fed taper? When will the Fed taper? How much will the Fed tapering be--and what will be the Fed's caveats against tapering? Will buyers show up after the Fed's announcement? The big challenge is whether markets can get above resistance at the 20- and 50-DMA. Downside risk remains down to the 200-DMA, ande markets remain over-sold. NASDAQ volume is drying up, and a rally in FAANG stocks is needed. Emerging and International markets are sectors to avoid currently. Small- and Mid-caps also remain under pressure, under-performing, but trying to hold support at the 200-DMA. Keep an eye on risk exposure today, and we'll present some buying opportunities tomorrow.
