Ray Dalio x NewYork-Presbyterian Dalio Center for Health Justice #IBall4SickleCell

Sickle cell disease is the most common hereditary blood disease in the US, predominantly impacting Black and Latino Americans, but research into it has been chronically underfunded and there hasn’t been much improvement in decades for those suffering from it.

So I’m very proud that NewYork-Presbyterian Dalio Center for Health Justice has launched the Sickle Cell Awareness Ball campaign, introducing a special-edition basketball with a crescent-shaped red panel to represent a sickle cell.

I don’t have any trick shots myself, so I’m passing the ball to my friend Coach Spo to join the campaign. You can help us spread awareness by posting your own trick shot with #IBall4SickleCell. You can also visit SickleCellBall.com to learn more or donate to support research to find a cure at the link in my bio. @NYPHOTOGRAPHER@nyphospital @daliophilanthropies
