| A project in the Philippines is turning decayed fishing nets into the raw materials for a carpet tile manufacturer in Britain, reusing rather than disposing of what was once thought of as rubbish.

Once enough nets have been collected by the villagers here, they are shipped to the local town where they are flown to Europe to be turned back into raw nylon – and then made into carpet tiles.
