I think that most people are familiar with Yanis Varoufakis by now, and have watched some of his speeches on campuses or events outside Greece. So I decided to add subtitles to an interview he gave to a Greek TV station so people abroad can see how our media treats him as a stark contrast to the respect he is regarded with outside Greece and especially in the academic circles. I DO NOT OWN any of the material shown here, (well, except for the subtitles I guess) the purpose of this upload is the spreading of useful information and food for thought. You may want to slow down or pause the video at times because this is a very fast paced interview, the Greek temperament is fully represented, and there is quite a bit of banter and interrupting throughout. I did my best to include everything both of them say even when they speak over one another. I also tried my best to be accurate and grammatically correct, however I am NOT a professional translator or subtitler so there might be some errors.
