Founded in 1968 by Poul Byriel and Erling Rasmussen, Kvadrat initially built its reputation by working with some of Scandinavia’s leading designers and artists. Today the Danish company, still based in the port town of Ebeltoft, is a world leader in textiles and textile-related products. Here we sit down with Anders Byriel, son of Poul and now Kvadrat’s CEO, to hear how he runs the company along with Rasmussen’s daughter, Mette Bendix, and about how the pair have delivered rapid growth while remaining true to their core values.
