Then, in 1987, the stock market crashed and the Dow Jones index lost 23% of its value. The next major event was the dotcom bubble and subsequent crash from 1999 to 2000. And the most recent event was the global financial crisis in 2007-08, which was triggered by the subprime mortgage crisis and the collapse of the U.S. housing bubble. This is the time it’s different. Today’s guest explains how this real estate market is different than before and what you can do about it. Ken McElroy, author of "ABCs of Real Estate Investing" says, “The inflation rate was 9.1% in June, it’s 7% now. They’ve raised interest rates six times and it’s only gone down two percent.” The good news, as Ken explains, is you can make money no matter what happens in the economy. Robert Toru Kiyosaki (born April 8, 1947) is an American businessman and author. Kiyosaki is the founder of Rich Global LLC and the Rich Dad Company, a private financial education company that provides personal finance and business education to people through books and videos. The company's main revenues come from franchisees of the Rich Dad seminars that are conducted by independent individuals using Kiyosaki's brand name for a fee. He is also the creator of the Cashflow board and software games to educate adults and children about business and financial concepts.
