Jim Rogers Gold 2021 A Warning

In this Jim Rogers Gold 2021 video, Jim warns about that effect that enormous money printing is having on asset price inflation and why everyone should buy gold and silver as an insurance policy. Jim recommends that the best way to buy gold and silver is to own and store physical gold and silver coins and bars.

Although he believes that there are bubbles in various stock markets, bond markets and property markets around the world, there is a chance that things could get even more over-inflated before there is a deep correction.

Jim believes that commodities remain undervalued and that the silver price in particular (40% below its all-time high is set up for a significant move higher over the next few years.

Jim Rogers gives the best investing advice that there is - education is key, learn from history and prepare for the future.

Jim Roger tells it like it is, and how it very well might be, with simple logic and timeless truths that only a wise one can.

The government will kill crypto argument doesn't make sense really to me. You could say the same about drugs and alcohol, they tried for years but failed because of the publics desire to consume. If the need is great enough for crypto it will succeed and countries attempting to ban it will be left behind while the countries that adapt will succeed. edit: On the dollar losing it's status as the reserve currency, Jim is right, there is no real competitor but I do feel with every passing day that the likelihood Bitcoin will rise to that challenge increases.. great interview btw.

Always interested to hear the arguments for physical silver. In the UK, ordinary investors are at a massive disadvantage. We pay 20% tax on top of any purchase, as well as high premiums. The tax and premium can sometimes amount to 31% of the spot price. I can’t see silver increasing in value by 31% this year even to make a return. Obviously, silver isn’t necessarily a short term investment, however there is a massive dislocation between the spot price and physical bullion.

Exactly the same issue I faced so I went with gold in the end

    2. Adam Robinson

@Andrew Howard I've got a bit of gold, but silver is probably within most people's price range. Easier to buy 1 oz or higher in silver than gold due to spot price. Premiums on 1/10th or 1/4 o/z gold coins can be high too. Basically, the more money you have and are willing to spend, the less premiums you will pay. VAT is an absolute bugger on silver tho. Be interesting to see what comes of this if we do strike a FTA with US.

You can trade covered calls if you own the silver ETF, SLV. You can’t do that on the stack of silver you got in your safe. Like Rogers, I own a little of both and have sold covered call options on my SLV shares.
