The Producer and Import Price Index increased in April 2021 by 0.7% compared with the previous month, reaching 101.6 points (December 2020 = 100). Higher prices were seen in particular for computer, electronic and optical products, machinery, basic metals, semi-finished metal products and metal products.

The Producer and Import Price Index rose in January 2017 by 0.4% compared with the previous month, reaching 100.4 points (base December 2015 = 100). The rise is due in particular to higher prices for petroleum products, scrap and watches. Compared with January 2016, the price level of the whole range of domestic and imported products rose by 0.8%. These are the findings from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).

The slight rise is due in particular to higher prices for scrap and petroleum products. Compared with November 2015, the price level of the whole range of domestic and imported products fell by 0.6%.
