Excerpt from Constitution or Form of Government for the People of Florida: As Revised and Amended at a Convention of the People Begun and Holden at the City of Tallahassee on the Third Day of January, A. D. 1861, Together With the Ordinances Adopted by Said Convention
I. No part of this Constitution shall be altered except by a Convention duly elected.
No Convention of the people shall be called unless by the concurrence of two-thirds of all the members of each House of the General Assembly, made known by the passing of abill which shall be. Read three times on three several davs in each House.
