Founded in 2012, Slow Collision Press is an independent publisher of killer, sarcastic, snake-handling, horrorstruck, millennial, hellbent, haywire, hypnoidal, jake-legged, knives-out, rawboned, mangy, narcotic Midwestern fiction. Based out of Iowa City, Iowa and Austin, Texas, Slow Collision has published two novels: The Best Part by Brent Johnson and Detroit Trip by Todd Jackson. The 2014 Mixtape has been released in conjunction with the Mission Creek Festival in Iowa City and features the works of Todd Jackson, Brent Johnson, Sean Genell, Todde Allen Williams and Ben Skeers.
