In 2011, Bjorn Ihler survived a horrific terrorist attack in Norway. Since then he’s worked as a peace activist and dedicated his life to countering terrorism. He offers his perspective after the bombing in Manchester.

22 people died in the Manchester attack on May 22nd 2017. For one observer the bombing evoked memories of another terrorist atrocity six years earlier in Norway.
On July 22nd 2011, a far-right extremist launched an attack in Oslo and on the island of Utoya. Bjorn Ihler was on the island during the attack.
