The #MeToo movement has had a far-reaching impact across the world. It saw the entertainment industry inadvertently create a movement for equality between the sexes and could turn out to be the most powerful force for gender equality since women’s suffrage. Miss Stevenson believes that some men are struggling to understand what #MeToo stands for. The cold cruel tide for equality between the sexes is shifting, but for Miss Stevenson there’s still a long way to go. 100 years after some women got the right to vote in Britain, Miss Stevenson’s outside Parliament to talk about sexism in numbers.
