| The other week I was lucky enough to sit down with Geoffrey Canada whom I have known for many years and is a great hero of mine. I want to share my conversation with him because I believe that not enough people recognize the heroism (as well as the tragedies) that can come from being raised where there are shootings and other terrible things going on. Raymond Thomas Dalio is an American billionaire hedge fund manager and philanthropist who has served as co-chief investment officer of Bridgewater Associates since 1985. He founded Bridgewater in 1975 in New York. Within ten years, it was infused with a US$5 million investment from the World Bank's retirement fund.
