Thank you so much, Lance! You cut straight to the core of the issue, and that's wonderful.

Lance, you are spot on with regard to the problem with our education system. When I worked as a teaching assistant in grad school in southern California, the best students were almost always from China.

Micro Strategy is a barely legal Ponzi scheme that will blow up.

If everyone in the US was thinking one way and China comes from left field, why?
How did China figure it out and we are holding our peckers.

I rarely comment on YouTube videos and consume a lot of financial media. This is by far the best explanation of this news and its implications. Incredibly useful

This is a very Chinese approach to AI I buy a lot of Made in China tools and home worshop machines. They typically give you 80% of the quality at 20% of the cost. They also tend to simplify designs and run wider tolerances.

I am glad you have admitted three or four times that you do not know what is going on obviously, you still don’t know very very very poor analysis of the situation in the change a technical analysis the damage it took place get ready. The roller coaster is starving.

Lance, I really like your market and AI analyses as always, however I disagree about the US education state cause analyses. I tend to agree with Vivek Ramaswamy about culture that for the most part do not promote education and studying but rather easy going life. It is the place of the rich, where many kids are spoiled and feel entitled and it is not the same with the other nations where kids have to work hard to compete with many more. On the other hand, the wealth disparity disallows for many poor kids to even have a chance. It is a rich nation problem with a lot of wealth inequality and that's why the decline. In the 50-60s the inequality was a lot less and the middle class was alive and well. so it was different then.

The race to have the better paraphrasing software is hilarious 😂😂😂. Funny seeing that everyone is an AI expert all of sudden. “Next industrial revolution” “spudnik moment”. It all comes down to developers, its not all about chips like these experts all claimed, china just proved that

Bro what are you talking about? please understand the subject before talking. You cannot ban open source code to run locally in the US. The analogy for experts and the brain is not accurate. Parameters are based on which distilled you download and use. If you are a big player in this market with those misunderstandings about AI and Bitcoin the market will go down once they get the true.

Maybe the reason America is falling behind is because the big money is made in finance, hedge funds, private equity, so a lot of brain power is wasted just trying to get rich without developing anything new for the society. We also treat most of the engineers like widgets that the finance guys get to add and subtract to maximize profits, instead developing their talent and their desires to cooperate, because the American management loves nothing more than to make workers feel like their employment status is precarious, and that doesn't inspire cooperation. (And then you got states like Texas that's trying to turn their school system into theology schools. )

We need to get all the investment professionals that are good in math to get into engineering…. Oh, yes they have to take a pay cut and work twice as hard… very hard to do?

You're way off base Lance, listen to the guy before me, "bearcamping600," the money just isn't there in engineering. The money is in finance. For instance, why didn't you go into engineering? Every year China graduates 10 X as many engineers in the US. Engineering is involved in building things and doing things better. The wealthy in this country place the emphasis on property ownership, and rents, not work. Domestic manufacturing has shrunk. So much of engineering is in manufacturing and industry. If manufacturing is moved abroad, all the necessary expertise and experience and adapting and using materials is moved abroad too. That's how the expertise is lost – trying to make something cheaper somewhere else, and selling the cheaper products to the people who lost their good paying jobs and telling them they're lucky to enjoy the job prices. The FINANCE SECTORS ARE JUST A BUNCH OF GRIFTERS, RIGHT? We have finance capitalism, not industrial capitalism – a system based on control and rents rather than making and selling.

Lance, the DeepSeek app is available on the Apple app site. Free.

Thanks for this informative post. It’s the first I’ve heard about DeepSeek’s abilities. Best wishes.

You could fund the college senior capstone to develop AI and the next 5 years those efforts would go further than one company. Problem is might not be able to control how far the logic might go.

Cancer screening tests aren't always accurate. A test result may show you have cancer when you don't. This is a false-positive result. On the other hand, your test may show that you don't have cancer when you do.

“We don’t want China to win the race” why is it?
You assume only the US would help humanity?
The evidences so far indicate the opposite.
China discovers a new and better AI and they gave it to the world by open sourcing it. Meanwhile, all except one company in the US try to fleece the world by keeping their AI secret and charge the world for using it.
I consider your statement purely racist. To the core racist.

WHAT A LOSER! THIS IS NOT A CHINA WAR VS. USA!!! TECHNOLOGY DOES NOT HAVE BORDERS, TECHNOLOGY IS WORLD WIDE AND WILL ADOPTED BY EVERYONE WHO WANT CHEAPER AI SOLUTION THAN THE NVIDIA DATA CENTER SOLUTION!!! THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF THE END OF THE AI HYPE, THE NVIDIA BUBBLE AND THE STOCK MARKET BUBBLE!!! THIS IS ALSO GOING TO LIMIT AI MODELS BEING DEVELOPED HERE, UNLESS THEY REEVALUATE THEIR APPROACH, WHICH I'M SURE THEY WILL DO!!! EVERYONE WILL GET AI, EVERYONE WHO WANTS IT!!!
