Biden only offers more of the same, good luck trying to resurrect a moribund economy with that.
As far as the markets discounting the worst possible outcome, no, instead I would argue that they're projecting, not discounting, their own over optimistic future forecast.

The fear of markets on Democrats running the show is not fact base. Historically the US Stock market has not grown more under Republicans. Democrats waste money in social programs, Republican do the same in weapons systems. Actually one of the last balanced budget came under Clinton. The only thing that markets care is what the Feds do. The rest is entertainment.
This whole "fear" is fueled by European equating Democrats with Socialism. That is none sense. Biden is not Chavez, and Podemos is not running the show for the Democrats.

@Juan Marrase You are right Juan, I'm not "aware" of the neodemocrats running the show. I just KNOW what "left radicals" are because I lived under Chavez in Venezuela and under Podemos in Spain. Putting all of them in one bag only plays to the hands of Republicans and it's just plain inaccurate. Little by little that baseless scaremongering against anything or anyone that uses "equality" in their ads would push the world towards the extreme right, which to my account is as dangerous as the extreme left. Better to keep a more centrist approach and focus on proven policies/plans, wherever they come from.

@Juan Marrase Unfortunately for you no a single one of those assertions about me are accurate. You are too quick to place me in your little boxes to fit your believe system. You seem to be moving into a radical political space of which I'm not interested to participate. Eventually all extremes, right or left, end up at the same point: "authoritarian regimes" backed by ….whatever doctrines justifies their means. Hitler and Stalin came from apparent opposite ideologies but ended up pretty much on the same spot, eventually taking their countries down a precipice. So I pick neither and as such choose to be a centrist guided by common sense, morality and plans with evidence of good performance. Thanks for the exchange, I now sign off and wish you well.
