Here’s my problem: I love trading with a squawk. I have to have one. It’s like an extra set of eyes on the world that alert you whenever something is happening. The problem is that I only have one set of ears, so my squawk is competing with whatever else I might be listening to. So I might be listening to a central bank speaker, or watching one of Greg’s great videos and then the squawk comes on. Now I can’t understand what was on the video or the squawk. The old solution was to crank up the volume on the squawk. This is how they do it on trading floors too. It’s super loud. But it’s so jarring; it’s frightening. My nerves don’t need that.
Another thing I like to do when I’m trading, or working, is listen to music. But you just can’t listen to music and have a squawk running at the same time. Until now.
I’ve found a way to do it and I’m going to show you how. It’s called a ducker and here is a free ducker that works perfectly so you can listen to a squawk and something else at the same time.
