If The Economist had a vote, we would cast it for Kamala Harris. She has run an impressive campaign with policies that reflect the need for centrist politics today. But, more importantly, a second Trump term comes with unacceptable risks. John Prideaux, our US editor, explains why she gets our endorsement. Endorsing the candidate who promises to execute policies that killed rich countries like Venezuela. Great idea. Unsubscribe.

Trump speaks like a neo-facist dictator, did not accept his 2020 election loss, and did not commit to a peaceful transfer of power. Trump is a threat to Democracy in America. Trump should be REJECTED at all cost !!!!

Oh, and he is a convicted felon that would never be granted even the most basic of security clearances in any other circumstance. That he is even a contender for President of the USA is mind boggling.

Dear editors,
the reason I subscribed this magazine is to get non-partisan info and analysis. I don't need your shallow personal input. I know way more about politics and history subjects than you do. So I am glad your endorsement on Kamala helps me to make my mind to cancel subscription of your magazine. And I call for conservative subscribers to consider do the same.

The so called economist backing the failure and a continuation of the last four years is quite remarkable.

Mrs. Harris doesn't sound like the progressive extremists, Trump sounds like conservative extremists. The world needs more moderates, more rational.

Kamala is a sociopath. She deflects every question, war moungerer. I mean, look at her history. If she wins the US and the UK will be prey to Russia. You people haven't got a clue what you're doing because you're in a cult. Trump may be narcissistic, but at least he did what's right for the country.
Voting for Kamala is the equivalent of telling the teachers on a bully. You just make the bully more angry. You people are going to destroy everything, including freedom. Get a grip, you biased utter jokes.
