Swiss businesses now have expanded infrastructure to access the digital asset market, following a rollout of PostFinance crypto services for corporate clients.
The expansion allows companies to trade 22 cryptocurrencies and participate in Ethereum staking directly from their standard bank accounts.
The B2B offering is integrated directly into the bank’s e-finance platform and mobile app.
It operates as an execution-only service, mirroring the existing setup for individual retail users but catering to institutional and corporate needs.
As part of this expanded service, corporate users can participate in Ethereum staking.
This mechanism allows businesses to earn rewards on their digital asset holdings by participating in network validation.

Blockchain analytics company Elliptic has secured US$120 million in a Series D funding round to scale its compliance platform as traditional financial institutions increase their exposure to digital assets.
Growth equity firm One Peak led the round, with participation from Nasdaq Ventures, Deutsche Bank, and the British Business Bank.
The investment brings the company’s valuation to $670 million.
Elliptic will use the new capital to expand its enterprise-grade analytics tools for banks, government agencies, and cryptocurrency platforms.
The funding arrives as regulated institutions begin transacting more frequently on digital asset networks, deepening their integration with tokenised assets.

In 2025, the cryptocurrency and blockchain sector attracted some of the largest venture capital (VC) rounds in the fintech industry, reflecting investors’ optimism about the space’s potential to create new financial infrastructure, and deliver high‑growth returns, according to new data released by market intelligence platform CB Insights.

PostFinance now offers its customers access to a total of 22 cryptocurrencies. The latest additions include Algorand (ALGO), Arbitrum (ARB), NEAR Protocol (NEAR), Stellar (XLM), USDC, and SUI.
The bank became the first systemically important financial institution in Switzerland to provide direct cryptocurrency access at the start of 2024.
In July, five further cryptocurrencies were added to its range. With this expansion, PostFinance offers a wide selection of popular digital assets, setting it apart from other retail banks in the country.
